2022 Pay Roll Auditing Of GES Staff To Begin- Check Date And Details
The Ghana Education Service (GES) is to commence an internal pay roll auditing exercise across all districts, municipals and metropolitans in Ghana.
The various District and Municipal Directors of Education has therefore issued communiques notifying its respective Head teachers about the decision to embark on a internal pay roll audit which commences in May 2022 and June 2022. In May 2022, various teachers on study leave with pay at the Universities, were audited. In June 2022, , all teachers currently on the field will be the next.
According to the service, this is exercise is to help eliminate illigimate names and unearned salaries from the pay roll.The management of GES wishes to start the exercise with schools in circuit bases, and all heads are expected to prepare for the exercise before the arrival of the officials to their circuits.
This means that teachers will be meetiing these officials in the various circuit centres. Head teachers are also urged to note that the GALOP and the Capitation account will be audited.

The Management of GES entreats all headteachers to make all other relevant documents for the management of the school available for the audit exercise.
Particiapants for the auditing exercise are urged to visit the auditing centre with the documents listed below;.

- Last Promotion Letter
- Upgrading Letter
- Professional Certificates

All expenditure receipts should be made available.
