Stop circulating ‘old’ Joyce Blessing ‘broken-heart, drunken’ video: Mgt warns public

The management team of Ghanaian gospel artiste Joyce Blessing has called on the general public to disregard a video in which the heartbroken musician is captured drinking from a wine bottle.

The gospel artiste was captured on video, purportedly drunk while drinking what looked like wine from a bottle, and expressing her love for one “Kwame,” after suffering a heartbreak.

According to the management team of the artiste, the video, which has gone viral, is an old one.

A statement issued by the ‘I swerve’ hitmaker’s management team said: “This video is, first of all, an old video of a loving wife expressing private feelings to her husband and the contents were not meant to be circulated publicly.”

The statement continued: “It is rather unfortunate that certain persons are doing everything to destroy the hard-won reputation of a talented and inspirational musician”.

“It is obvious that the intent of the circulation is to target and destroy this reputation”.

“Management and her legal team have initiated investigations into this matter and the culprit(s) shall certainly be held responsible”, the statement said.

It urged all persons to be “cautious and desist from further circulation of this rather private video.”

It added that the artiste does “not, in any way, manner or form, condone any unhealthy behaviour and she will continue to act as a positive source of inspiration to all those who have faith in the Lord.”
