Court orders prosecution to serve Vormawor’s lawyers with all evidence documents
The Ashaiman District Court has ordered prosecution to serve defense lawyers of #Fixthecountry Convener, Oliver Barker-Vormawor with the full bill of indictment.
State prosecutors submitted documents which it intends to use as evidence against the fixthecountry convener as it prepares to take him for trial.
After submitting the bill of indictment and summary of evidence in court, lead counsel for Barker Vormawor, Justice Srem Sai told the court that prosecution had not served them with 3 exhibits contained in the summary of evidence.
Prosecution led by Anastasia Karimu however told the court that the said documents had been listed in the summary of evidence the case intends to rely on at the trial.
Presiding Magistrate Eleanor Barnes – Botchwey ordered the prosecution to attach the said files since she wouldn’t be able to commit the accused without the whole document.
Prosecution had filed 5 documents out of 8 as piece.
