Exim Bank supports Project Amplified
The Ghana Exim Bank has supported Amplified, a social marketing project of the Ministry of Information to help promote business innovations and the activities of social entrepreneurs in the country.
The support will ensure a season one (1) of the project totaling 10 episodes which will help beneficiaries to promote their products and services to larger markets.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank, Lawrence Agyinsam who disclosed this in an interview with journalists last Thursday said the support is part of an overall strategy of Exim Bank Ghana to support MSMEs to eliminate barriers to global commerce.
“We believe that supporting this laudable project by the Ministry of Information is key to strengthening Ghana’s innovation pipeline, drive emerging businesses and, over the long-term, safeguard the sustainable growth of MSMEs.”

He said the support will help young businesses navigate the exciting opportunities that exist in online business marketing and enhance their speed to gaining larger markets.
In April this year, the bank re-launched its Tuesday Market initiative aimed at creating awareness for Made-In-Ghana products and harness their potential for exports.
The Market serves as a one-stop shop for the general public to purchase anything locally manufactured, from nicely packaged food items, cosmetic products, garments and textiles, leather products and many more.
This, Mr. Agyinsam said, is all part of efforts by the bank to substantially support and promote products and services of young businesses to gain larger markets and compete in new frontiers that were previously inaccessible.
