Deputy NLA Boss Wins Woman In Corporate Governance Award
The Governance and Business Boardroom, has named the Deputy Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Ms. Anna Horma Miezah, as part of the top 20 Women in Corporate Governance and Business Leadership in Ghana.
Ms. Anna Horma Miezah, picked up the Exemplary Woman in Corporate Governance Award at the 4th National Governance and Business Leadership Awards.
The National Governance and Business Leadership Awards 2024, held at the Marriot Hotel in Accra on Saturday, July 27, 2024, honored leaders who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, strategic acumen, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
As a Deputy Director General of NLA, Ms. Anna Horma Miezah, has been instrumental in the transformation of the NLA and enhanced the Authority’s business operations.
Ms. Miezah, holds an MBA from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom, with a career that spans over 20 years in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, Construction, Management, Journalism, and Insurance.
To give back to society, Ms. Miezah founded Horma, established Hope for Women Foundation, an NGO that supports women empowerment and Girl-Child education.
The 4th Governance and Business Leadership Awards, also honored the Visionary Board Chairman of the year, Mr Frank Davis Esq., the Director of Human Resources at NCA, Dr Charles Amoah-Wilson for his transformational leadership, some CEOs, HR Leaders, Procurement Leaders, and other influential business leaders, while celebrating team spirit in the Ghanaian business space.
