Former Chief of Staff Donates Motorbikes to Volta NDC

Mr Prosper Bani, a former Chief of Staff under erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration, has made a significant contribution to the youth wing of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Volta Region by donating 18 brand-new motorbikes to be distributed to each constituency.

The donation, which took place at Kpando on November 27, 2024, aims to enhance the mobility and effectiveness of youth organizers to work diligently within their respective constituencies to achieve victory for the party.

According to the former Minister for Interior, the motorbikes, will provide the youth organizers with the necessary means to travel easily across the often-challenging terrains of the region, allowing them to engage more with the electorates.

He said, increased mobility is crucial for fostering connections, disseminating the party’s policies, and mobilizing support as the NDC prepares for the general election slated for December 7.

Mr Bani’s gesture, reflects his unwavering commitment to empowering the party’s initiatives in the Volta Region.

By equipping these organizers with reliable transportation, he enables them to be more proactive in their outreach efforts and effectively communicate the party’s vision and goals ahead of the polls.

He urged party faithful to eschew their differences and work together as a team to secure a resounding victory for the NDC on December 7, 2024.

Presenting the motorbikes, Mr Bani, stated that the donation is part of his ongoing support and commitment to the National Democratic Congress and his desire to achieve victory for the party in the after the poll.

“This is a personal donation aimed at resourcing the party at the grassroots level to ensure that our goal of winning all 18 seats in the region becomes a reality. I am also doing this to ensure that President John Dramani Mahama is elected to implement his commendable policies for Ghana,” he stated.

The leadership of the Volta NDC, has expressed profound gratitude to Mr Bani for his generous support.

As the elections approach, this donation is set to elevate the morale of the youth organizers, providing them with the tools they need to energize their constituents and strengthen the party’s presence in the region.

This initiative, not only aids the NDC in its electoral pursuits, but also reinforces the importance of youth involvement in the political landscape.

The Regional Youth Organizer, Mr Mathias Alagbo, popularly known as ‘Kabila’, speaking on behalf of the constituency youth organizers, acknowledged Mr. Bani’s efforts in resourcing the various constituencies within the Volta Region.

He assured him that the motorbikes, would be put to good use, and they would work diligently to ensure victory for the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama as well as the respective parliamentary candidates.
