E/R: Work on €70m, 600 bed Reg’l hospital progressing steadily
Work on the 70 million Euro, 600 bed Eastern Regional hospital is progressing steadily.
The first phase of 285 bed is 37 percent complete a year into the commencement of work, according to contractors of the project
The 36 months first phase according to contractors is on schedule .

Upon completion, it will be fitted with administration, training, conference and teaching facilities; out-patient department; accident and emergency services; adjunct clinical services , pharmacy, imaging with Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and all modern facilities needed for a modern hospital.
The Eastern Regional Minister Seth Acheampong on an inspection tour of the facility says the NPP administration is focused on providing a world standard facility for the region and others.
