Sad news: Three Died and others injured as car Crashes in Ashanti region. Check details.

In a deadly accident that occurred this morning in Abuakwa-Maakro in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region, at least three people have died and numerous more have been hurt.

A Ford passenger car with the license plate GS 3600-12 that was traveling from Nerebehi to Kumasi failed to use its brakes and collided with a Martyrs of Uganda Preparatory School bus with the license plate GW 5810-16 today, Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

This reporter, who was present, claimed that the Martyrs of Uganda Preparatory School Bus was en route to pick up pupils.

In the Ford, there were two immediate fatalities.

A passenger died upon arrival at the Abuakwa Poly Clinic after being one of the several injured passengers who were transported there.

Including a 13-year-old Ford conductor, there have now been three fatalities.

The Abuakwa Poly Clinic is providing medical care for the remaining travelers.
