Missing Bolt Driver Found Dead
…After Picking Passenger From Accra To Nsawam
A Bolt driver, identified as Thomas Kwame Henodzi, who is reportedly missing, after he allegedly picked passenger(s) from Accra to Nsawam in the Eastern Region, has been found dead.
The deceased driver, a resident of Libya Quarters at Madina, a suburb of Accra, according to multiple accounts by friends and relatives, left home on Wednesday, July 12, for work but never returned to his family.
His body was later found in a bush at a place called Bowkrom, near the Ponposu river, near Nsawam.
The Anchor gathered that, the late Kwame’s last trip from the online software records ended at Ridge, around the National Trust Holding Company (NTHC) in Accra.
However, he reportedly continued his trip to the Eastern Regional town after informing his friend of his next move.
According to the paper’s information, the 36-year-old’s vehicle is yet to be found. It is believed that, the car was possibly taken away by his killers or abandoned somewhere.
A social media page, ‘Find Thomas Killer’ has already been created to galvanize support to bring the killer (s) to book.
A post by Kwame’s friend, one Mayor Carlos, who called on the public to help apprehend the culprit(s), said, the Ghana Police Service is not attaching the issue with the needed attention to arrest Kwame’s killers.
The Facebook post, sighted by The Anchor, was copied to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Eastern Regional Police Command and others.
Another post from Mayor reads, “HELLO FRIENDS, join me seek justice from Ghana Police Service, please we know you are capable of bringing the killers of Thomas Henodzi FIND Thomas Killers to book.”

On the Wednesday 12th July, 2023, Thomas Kwame Henodzi, a BOLT Driver and a resident of Madina in the Greater Accra Region left home to work.
Our brother ended his last trip at Ridge around NTHC in Accra and called a friend he was driving to Nsawam.
Kwame’s lifeless body was found in a bush at Bowkrom near Ponposu River in Nsawam.
Ghana Police Ghana Police Service in Nsawam are not forthcoming with information to apprehend the Killers of our Brother.

Meanwhile, another Bolt driver has brutally been assaulted by an alleged soldier for daring to question the officer on what he perceived to be careless driving in traffic in Accra.
According to report by Citinewsroom, the situation of the driver was so terrible that he had to be resuscitated in hospital, after he was beaten by the alleged officer, who was sitting in his vehicle, said to have done the wrongful overtaking and crossed the Bolt driver’s car.
The Bolt driver bled after the assault, losing a considerable amount of blood on the spot.
When he was resuscitated in a nearby hospital, the medical personnel detected that he was stabbed, in addition to the slaps to the face and the punches to the abdomen and other parts of the body.
The offensive man, suspected to be a soldier, was in the four-wheel vehicle, that nearly reportedly resulted in an accident.
When they arrived at the next traffic stop, the Bolt driver, who was not happy with what happened, allegedly confronted the driver of the four-wheel vehicle and asked him to use his traffic indicators when overtaking and crossing others.
Unknown to the Bolt driver, there was a soldier in the said four-wheel vehicle, who was not enthused with the admonishment from the Bolt driver.
The man, in uniform, got out of the four-wheel vehicle, pulled the Bolt driver out, and reportedly stabbed him on the head before subjecting him to severe beatings.
The victim was rushed to the Deseret Hospital at Santa Maria in Accra where he was revived by a team of medical officers.
A passenger in the Bolt, Michelle Frimpong, in a radio interview with Accra-based Citi FM, narrated what she saw: “There was this 4×4 that was behind us, and he did a wrongful overtaking and got in the middle of the road. So then it was too obvious, either we skid off the road or we allow him to use his car to scratch our car. Then the Bolt driver stretched out his hand and touched the back of his car. And we said that if you wanted a way, show a traffic indicator and don’t do a wrongful overtaking.”
“So just a few minutes, we saw that they had come to park in front of our car. Then this man came down, opened the door of our car and pulled the Bolt driver out of the car. Then the soldier guy came out of the car, pulled him back and closed the car. So, it was the people around who said that he was stabbed; so, when I got out of the passenger’s side I realized blood oozing out of his head. So, we had to rush him to the hospital.”
