  Parts of Accra was submerged in water after a downpour which started late Monday evening. Areas including; Kasoa, Kaneshie, Teshie, Tse-Addo, Dansoman, Tesano, Kwame Nkrumah Interchange (Circle), Adabraka, and Asylum Down amongst others, were heavily hit by the floods.
